Has anyone seen Luffy in the last few days?

[Zoro has been paying close attention to this entry, Nami, because he knows damn well that Luffy, if prone to running around wild at times, would not leave his nakama-half gone to war, one comatose, the others tired and strained and leaning on each other-and not even respond to calls. If he were able.

After a damning amount of time and negative responses, there's the telling stomping through the house and SLAM of the front door. ...Zoro hasn't left, though. As a matter of fact, he pulled up abruptly in the middle of storming out to locate their captain-pausing with one hand holding the door open, eyes narrowed and teeth momentarily bared as he wrestled internally.

Then he stepped over the threshold, flung the door shut in an involuntary slipping of frustrated strength (SLAM), and promptly sat down cross-legged beside it, folding his arms and closing his eyes. He'll be out there for the foreseeable future.]

[Nami'll leave you alone a good long time, Zoro, before the desire to just get out of the house and do something productive and distracting becomes too great. In point of fact, she's not terribly aware that he's just outside, as is proven when she opens the front door and then just freezes midstep across the threshold.

There's a small pause, and then she'll continue out onto the front step, closing the front door quietly behind her. And leans against it, eyeing the top of that mossy green head.

Saying he'll be back or he'll be fine or there's nothing you could have done is pointless and holds no weight besides. So instead, for now, she says nothing at all.]

[Hi Nami. Zoro has...not actually calmed down appreciably in the interim that he's been sitting out here, even though he's been trying to meditate and is keeping very still. Hence not twitching or looking up at you when you come out. Pay no mind to the lines of tension in his shoulders.

He wants to get up. He wants to get up and move and find Luffy and hurt whatever bastard stole him, but he-can't leave. Can't leave the house and the people in it without a shield standing by, with half the crew gone and the cook in the shape he's in.

So he just sits there, almost wishing something random would attack so he could cut it to fucking pieces. And not looking at you because he doesn't really want to see that look on your face, either.

Yeah, another one for the 'not saying anything' train, here. :|a]

[Skirting-the-edge-of-companionable silence is go, then. And she'll keep that up for a small while. Seeing Zoro doesn't do anything good for her mood - it's a sharp reminder of how fresh this kind of thing used to be for her not so long ago. On some level, it makes her feel like she's selling out.

...well. There is certainly no teasing today.]

...

Sanji-kun's coming round. [That's...the best news she can offer, alas.]

[...It'll do.]

Hn. [A slow inhale and exhale, and when the breath is let out he's-not less angry, but it's...steadier. Better managed.] ...Good. 'Bout time, that lazy ass.

Heh.

...Ginko's keeping an eye on him. I have to go run some errands. [Shifting briefly from one foot to the other.] You want anything?

Hmm.

[His eyes slit open and flick over to you. Yeah, I want something. Don't get kidnapped. Or taken control of. Or beat up. Be careful. ...is what the look says all in one flashing glance.

He doesn't say it out loud, of course.]

...No. I'm fine.

[That's one hefty list of demands in this town, Zoro. Her answering grin hovers somewhere between amused and sarcastic and slightly bitter, before she shrugs.]

I'll be down at the restaurant if you need me.

[And she'll be careful.

...and probably bring an excess of alcohol with her when she returns.]
