Title: lay me down to sleep.
Pairing: Jared/Jensen

Summary: Jared can’t sleep, and Jensen can’t sleep without Jared.
AN: fic for the lovely hkath. The prompt was ‘one of the boys has insomnia’.

( Near and around 2 in the AM - a Spurs clock taking pride of place on the mantel - Jensen finds Jared watching Family Guy, and eating popcorn straight from the microwave bag. )

Absolutely perfect, spot-on voices for these guys, IMHO. They're comfortable with each other, teasing each other and just happy. Very sweet fic, I loved it :) Also, ooh, I might have gone snooping around in your journal and found that you like Garrett Hedlund. AND Jensen Ackles. Mind if I friend you? =D

Garrett!! *points to icon* I'm so suprised anytime I find a J2 fan who likes Garrett too. In my mind he's still that guy from Four Brothers that nobody knows. Can I friend you both?

Ooooh, sooo sweet. And after the video of the con with Jared so obviously cutting asleep-on-his-feet Jensen all the slack possible - perfect!! Just what I craved. Okay, still craving but this was a great starter. *hunts on*

Awwww....this was all fluffy and stuff and and adorable.

"“Pressing fast forward now.”

“Right, so I came out here and turned on the TV and thought to myself, what’s TV without popcorn, right? So I went out to the kitchen and found the bag, and oh! No shit, it says on the back that you -”

“Stop,” Jensen whines, looking over to Jared, who’s still rubbling round in the popcorn. “Why can’t you sleep?”

Jared shrugs, like it’s no big deal, pulling a face when he hits a bad kernel. He spits it out over his shoulder. Class. “I think my inner clock is all screwy. It feels like day.”

“Well, it’s not day. It’s not day for another four hours. You know, when we go to set and do that thing, what’s that thing called?”

“Breakdance?”

“Work.”

How much does that totally sound like them?!!! Great characterization! Were you like hiding behind the couch or something?! ;)
