AN: so I’m sure many people have done post LDSK fic but I’m new to the pairing so I’m testing out the waters. Still not right with Hotch’s voice. Feedback of all kinds would be lovely :D

More, more! I want to see more of this conversation and these ideas and this relationship. I'm not clear on how Aaron is abusive (not arguing, just want another chapter with more of what he thinks; does he think sex is automatically abusive, or illicit sex? or does he feel in too authoritative a position? or just because it's Spencer?) and if Spencer agrees with him or not. And if not, does he have the guts to say so. Does he know yet what Aaron is thinking... And all kindsa more! I liked this a lot. Loved the dialog and atmosphere.

The dreaded constructive criticism: past tense of "tread" is "trod". If you don't like the sound of "trod" (understandable) you could reframe that phrase into the infinitive, like "used to tread" (though that doesn't work terribly well there) or some such phrase, leaving the rest in the past tense (stayed, stained). Sorry. The sound is lovely, I know.
