The other day I was watching Mountie Sings the Blues and there's this little scene, after Fraser's been rocking it out, when Ray says something like 'you were stiff as a board and singing like a bird" and Fraser's all ":D:D:D:D" and Ray's all, "I didn't say what kind of bird". I'D NEVER SEEN THAT SCENE BEFORE? It's like every time I watched it I turned my head or something.

I love watching episodes that I've watched a dozen times and beign all, heyyyyy, I never realised he said that! I love our show.

Oh my god, you missed that scene? Lol, that's okay, I've missed big scenes too. I love how Ray gave him that little backhanded compliment and then tried to backpedal with, "I didn't say what kind of bird." Also I remembered that Fraser was really excited about the compliment, but I wanted to see if maybe youtube had it because it might have been my fannish brain adding stuff, but nope, it's at the first of this video and he's clearly all excited. See, this is why F/V doesn't work for me, because never does he get that excited when Vecchio compliments him. It's all in the subtext, you know.
