That's exactly how I feel about most canon couples on TV and in movies. It's getting to the point where I'll start to detect that two characters are being primed for couplehood and I start to dread it, because most of the time they don't earn it, in my mind.

I always thought that, at least in the movies, Bonnie Wright (Ginny) looked like the woman who played Harry's mother (okay, kind of creeped me out). There was almost no real emotional development between the characters, just some scenes where they're thrown together and/or give each other soppy looks.
