Is it just me, or do other people find writing certain characters really hard? I mean, not because they're a hard character to crack, but just because it doen't come naturally. When I'm writing well [hello, ego] I find my Jared and Jensen are just, there. The same could be said for MASH. But, due South? Or, Criminal Minds? Basically everything else. I have to really work at it. What do you think are some of the reasons? Personality, knowledge of the canon ...?

Personally, it's hard for me to write J2 because it just doesn't feel right to me.

But basically people write characters they know they can relate to.

(I for one find my Chris, Steve, Jensen and straight Jared ;) with absolutly no problem *g* )

I love writing stupid boy banter! I think you're definitely right though, I'm pretty sarcastic and silly in real life, so I guess that comes naturally.
