For some reason I was under the impression this would be a triology and this was going to be the last part! I'm soooo glad that it isn't! :D :D I am so happy to have this story to look forward to... I've needed something like this in my life! Why aren't I reading bajillions of WIPs??? This made my day. Intense scientific speak was scientific and awesome, and I love the musical aspect!

Just a detail, but I like Bones' rant to Jim about doing his homework/attending class: "Just go to the classes. It won't kill you to be a little bored,"

I've lost track of how many times I've said things like that to my partner and my stepkids! They don't seem to get the idea of just cranking through homework in service of their higher goals. Some people just have to do things on their own schedule.....
