“Awesome, right?? O My God, how could someone make such a video about us here? It seems, there are just the two of us here, Uepi. I didn’t see Kame or the others…” Junno said, amazed. “Does someone really love me that much?”
“WHAT??” Ueda yelled. What does Taguchi mean? Someone loves him ‘that’ much? Like ‘that’ in the video??
“Did I really get found out now? Should I confess?? Is this the time?? I’m not ready yet!”
“Eh, I mean, this person must love you too Uepi… someone made these videos, lots of us here… he crop each video that includes us here… this person really loves us nee~” Junno said as if he has hurt Ueda’s feelings by saying that the person who made that video just loves him, and didn’t include Ueda.
Ueda sighed to that oblivious answer, “Ooh, is that what he means… I thought he referred to ‘how I love him’ in that video”.
“How did you found this video anyway?” Ueda asked curiously, is he that obvious even in front of the camera that even the fangirls know about his feeling toward the tall man??
“Ooh, I just opened YouTube. You know, there are lots of useful things there! Like the tutorial on how to install games, or some applications in computer, you can find it all in YouTube, so awesome!!!” Junno said excitedly.
Ueda rolled his eyes, “And how come you got to that video?” he asked impatiently, whoever made this video really know him well enough to make a romance video about him and Junno…
“Ah, I just randomly type my name in romaji letters, ehehehe…”
Oh yeah, this narcissist!
“And how it ended up with my name there too?”
“I don’t know! I just found some video of my solo performances and then I found this one with ‘Taguchi JunnosukexUeda Tatsuya’, and I got curious so I clicked it! Apparently they called us JUNDA, do you think it was our combined name? Like JUNNO and UEDA?? Too bad I don’t really understand what they commented about it, they said it in English! Does that mean this video is made by our abroad fans? Amazing!!!” Junno said, glancing slightly to him before focusing his eyes on the monitor again. “I’ll search some more, this is interesting!!”
“Ju-just make sure you eat that lunch, I’ll be back soon!” Ueda said, almost running to the door to hide his blushing cheeks and tried to calm down his thumping heart. ‘Oh, I’ll have heart attack if I was there a minute longer!’
He went to the vending machine to buy some cold soda. He wondered how he would face Junno if he came back to dressing room. His stomach suddenly grumbled loudly, oh great! Even his stomach couldn’t cooperate with his heart now! If only he brought his lunch with him before he left the room.
He then felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, Junno called him!
“Moshi-moshi?”
“Uepi! Where are you? I don’t want to eat alone, you’ve bought me lunch. Let’s eat together!” Junno’s cheerful voice greeted him.
“Ah, urusai na Taguchi! I’m in the comfort room, I’m on my way to dressing room now!”
He couldn’t hide forever from Junno, however Junno still seemed oblivious even after he saw that video. How dense someone could be? So Ueda walked back to dressing room, and found Junno still clicking here and there on his laptop.
“Ah, Uepi! I download that video, you don’t mind if I save it in your laptop right? I’ll send it to my hard disk later…”
“Oh, Uhm, yeah, that’s okay…” Ueda said, stuttering; trying to stop himself from blushing.
“You know Uepi, there’s a lot JunDa videos! But I love the first one we saw earlier the most, I think that’s the newest of them all, ah and not only that, I found JinNo too! ”
But the next sentence Junno said changed Ueda’s blushing cheeks to a red-angry mode. He kept silence for about a whole minute and made Junno looked up to him, “I don’t want to know about your JinNo stuff! Save it to other place and not in my laptop!” he snapped before he could stop himself.
Junno’s eyes widened, and seeing this, Ueda hastily added, “I mean, I just want you save the video that has ME in MY laptop! Call me narcissist but I won’t give a damn!”
Junno smiled, amused, “I didn’t download the JinNo one, Uepi… I just save the video that has you inside, don’t worry… Let’s eat now?” and Ueda just gave a simple nod before he walked towards Junno with their lunches on his hand.
He could feel his cheeks got redder than before, “Junno didn’t download the JinNo one? He just saved the JunDa??” he thought and unconsciously rubbed his thumping heart, trying to calm it down.
“I’ll copy them to my hard disk after we eat, thank you Uepi…” Junno said gratefully, “Ah, Uepi are you okay? Your face looks so red! You’ve got fever or something?” Junno finally noticed his red face and lean forward to touch Ueda’s forehead, but before he made contact with Ueda’s skin, the older man slapped his hand away.
Junno’s face showed a shock expression, “ah, so-sor-sorry”. Ueda hated that guilty expression and he hated himself more that he spontaneously hurt Junno because of his stupid emotions, “Ah, no.. I’m sorry… I mean, I’m fine, don’t worry” he said, but when he saw Junno’s hurt expression haven’t changed yet, he added, “Thank you for your concern, but I’m okay Taguchi, it’s just a little hot here” he tried to smile to lighten the mood.
And finally Junno smiled and he said, “But we used air conditioner here, Uepi. It’s not hot at all!!”
“Urusai!” Ueda snapped playfully.
***Junno laid on his fluffy bed late at night, thinking about the ‘JUNDA’ video that he discovered today, fans can be that creative ne~ That was just videos and photos for public consumption only and fans can make a new video from that! How awesome! They haven’t seen the video that has been cut from the original one, there’s much more unconsciously intimate gestures that editor-san think wouldn’t be appropriate for public consumption.
But that’s how fans see them? To each other?? Moreover, about him towards Uepi??
He stood up, walking to his desk, and turn on his laptop that was attached to the hard disk. He watched the video again, watching it more intensely than when he did in the dressing room. Once he looked at the video, remembering the situation behind the videos that was cropped from the real one, he thought that he really, indeed was, really close to Ueda. When they were being briefed before the filming of PV they always sat beside each other, share the same concept paper for the PV’s filming, and it was not rare for them to come together to filming location, because Ueda often offer him rides, although he preferred to ride a train, but Ueda always said that he wouldn’t make it on time to the location and so he always took the offer.
He focused his eyes more on the video, the one when he acted like anidiot in front of the camera and other members on Signal making PV, he looked really enjoy himself while Ueda was standing behind him, staring at him intently, “That’s how Uepi seeing me? Really?” he talked to himself, a bit flattered at how the beautiful man was gazing at him affectingly. ”He didn’t seem to be laughing at me being an idiot, but rather amused. Does he really think that I’m funny??” and the one in NMP photo shoot, when Ueda look at him with that ‘special look’…
Junno repeat the video over and over again, he noted on his mind that Ueda is really, really beautiful. With those face, no one would resist his beauty, women or even men. “Even I can’t resist it!” And suddenly, widened his eyes, Junno gasped at his own thought. As long as he remember, Ueda had really been that beautiful, but before his beauty has a more mysterious feeling, and now, his beauty was now really more to the cute side. He remembered the days when they were just debuted as KATTUN; he didn’t really believe that he was a part of a debuted group now, with his friends, the people that he had known since he entered JE, and with Ueda, the man he adored so much. Ueda entered JE a year before him and since then, he always been a kind senpai towards Junno. Ueda always found a way to protect him from those juniors who often picked on him. He remembered when Ueda scolded him once after some of juniors locked him in one of abandoned room in Jimusho and how happy he was that time, when Ueda came to rescue and scolded him, “Are you really that stupid? Don’t smile if you’re hurt! That’s why they didn’t stop bullying you all this time! Fight for your pride, will you?”
That was the first time he was happy to be reprimanded by someone, because it means Ueda cares for him. And for once since the first time the others picked on him, he cried on Ueda’s chest. And that was the last time they ever bullied him. Well, they didn’t stop completely, but Junno didn’t really mind them anymore, and sometimes he even fought back but he would still be in smiles. And it was somehow his friends just trying to show their affection for him and not because they hated him.
And since that day, Junno has adored the older band mate, and he realized that he was growing affection toward the man, even he being an oblivious person, wonder if that is love or not?
But one thing for sure, this video made him recall the past days, the days when this feeling is still something new for him, unlike now where he got used to that emotion to the point he couldn’t sort out of his feelings for Ueda anymore. And now, thinking of Ueda made his heart thump loudly in his chest. “Eh? What is this?” he whispered to the night, gripping his chest curiously. He didn’t have any idea that his feeling for Ueda were just awakening once more.
