Inspired by Warcraft's Tuskarr, a race of peaceful walrus fishermen. Fisherwalruses. Fisheruses. But there are no female Tuskarr in the game as far as I can tell, and I wanted to make a lolrus lady, so I had to use my imagination.
You totally should! I remember your little dragonets with great fondness and squee. :)
I was never any good at carving, and I can only crochet or sew plushies if I have a pattern and a lot of patience, but clay-type things like ceramics and polymer clays are fun. I'd like to try resin casting, but I don't know if I have adequate ventilation.
I think I've said it before, but SO CUTE. She looks like she's just chillin, taking a little nap there, while waiting for someone to bring her some wolf babies stolen from the still-bleeding arms of their mothers... (sorry, the Tuskarr are freaking EVIL!)
I've always wondered about the puppy quest, as well as the fish-pimping quest. The collecting supplies makes sense, but really, if reef bulls and reef cows are too stupid to get together on their own-- especially considering that they can *see* each other across the strait-- then maybe we shouldn't be helping to perpetuate that particular species.

*marvels s'more at the wonderful detail you've got there*
That's just exquisite. The tusk detail is the most striking part.

I was thinking crochet hooks, myself. I don't know if it's quite deep enough, though.

The balance between simplicity and detail-work is evocative and thoroughly charming.
