300 Favourite Movies: 4: Corpse Bride
Hel-lo, Tim Burton. It's no surprise that I'm a fan of stop motion picture animation as well as the work of Burton. Although this story focuses on the dead, it sure is a lively movie. The grim appearance, dark colours and dark themes is not the only thing here. It's a genuinely funny and charming story. It's one of those movies where you don't see what you will get. It's a surprise to those who have a clear expectation based on the look of it. And I do love surprises.
