This song isn't very good, and the women aren't very attractive, either. I am disappointed.
I had been meaning to rent Audition for a few years, but I usually put off renting it just because it didn't seem all that interesting to me. Doesn't help that the majority of the Japanese films that I've seen thus far have been mediocre. I'll get around to it someday.
It's the third act of Audition that's the compelling part - Miike directed the rest of the movie as a boring love story on purpose so that the third act would be that much more of a suckerpunch.
