The scientific base, as you noted, would come out in their syntax and vocabulary, I think. I imagine that they have very precise words for very precise ideas and concepts. It's a concise, pretty language. Kind of like science, really. ;3
But it would have to be pretty. They give everything seriously heavy-handed names like the Mountains of Solace and Solitude on the Continent of Wild Endeavor. xDDD The only way you get away with nonsense like that is if it's gorgeous and fun to say out loud.
