there's something invigorating about waking up before 6 am to go work at JR's. It just does something to you. Maybe its the fact that all of your customers are male until around 10. Its so interesting to see two guys meet up for breakfast before work. You can't help but overhear their muffled conversations about church and work and family. It

And maybe it's the fact that we are no longer friends (i shouldn't say that because i still consider you a friend even though we don't speak much) that gives me such comfort in all the times well spent. every moment of high school. every fight, ever tear, every giggle, every photograph, every break-up, every hook-up... every memory. maybe its all that and more that gives me such a hard time trying to move on. but its merely that that makes me shed tears knowing that you all are doing it without me. and that is why, no matter how long it lasted i am honored to call any and all of you my friends.
