Pfft, wait until the dressage portion comes, not the eventing. Not that I'm biased. ;)

Aw, I needed a good, heart-warming article after the slew of ones that made me blow a vessel. And I'm yoinking that recipe. I think even I could possibly manage a crockpot cake. Or I'll just eat the chocolate and call it good.

I will refer to that article forever hence if someone has the gall to say that animals don't have souls or feel no love.

As for the cake. This has CHANGED me. Will I ever go back to baking in an oven?

Next. Crockpot cookies?

Pfft, wait until the dressage portion comes, not the eventing. Not that I'm biased. ;)

If the dressage horses are even more beautiful, I don't feel that I can survive it. I will be found in a warm puddle of whimpering goo.

And my dog will not be guarding my side.

Hah, my pets will eat me if I die around them. ;)

I have no idea when it's showing on t.v., but you can catch a vid of team dressage Grand Prix here. You can get all of the equestrian events here, actually. Sat.'s the Grand Prix Special, but unless I can convince my employers to let me go missing for a bit, I'll have to skip watching it live.

I saw the dressage event today!

The horses were so beautiful it hurt my heart.

My husband knew I was watching "my horsies" as he says, but was curious to see what was making me yammer and whimper so much.
"Oh my God, Min."
"They're SO BEAUTIFUL!"
(he walks into the living room)
"Oh my god, that IS a beautiful horse. Leggy."
Now, my "hu'band" does not know much about equines, but even he had to admit they were gorgeous.

(whimper whimper)
Afterwards, I was like "Oh, Olympics. If you can't give me beautiful dressage horses 24/7, I have no use for you."

The best part was when Jon got jealous and tried to mimick the moves the horses were doing to get my attention.

THANK YOU FOR THE LINK!

Dude. Straight up semi-frozen (free trade, renewable source and superfly anti-oxidant mega-super-mega antioxidant) acai and free-trade dark chocolate chips. Simple, healthy, and orgasmic.

And the dog story made me emo.

orgasmic indeed.

As for the dog story, it made me feel hopeful and restored my faith in the world, in a way.
The man died, yes. He wanted to die, and it's sad. As for the dog, dogs don't necessarily see death as we do. Anyway, the dog showed amazing intelligence and stayed alive on his own for 6 weeks. If he survived that, he can survive anything.
