Oh damn...flooding. I hate flooding; my room backhome (really, the entire basement) used to flood a ton when it rained heavily (bad sewers and pipes unable to handle big loads). I lost a ton of stuff...and it sucked majorly, bringing all the crud in.
Ouch dude, that really sucks. Is your basement furnished? I don't remember.
Sounds like you caught it early enough that a wet/dry vac, and air mover (rented from Home depot) and some mopping with bleach should hopefully be enough to prevent mold from setting in.
Take pictures and call your insurer as any repairs may be covered.

That was the first thing that I installed. Under my sink there was no shut off value for the dish washer, outside tap, and refrigerator ice maker.
