My BDSM history presentation at the Art of Loving last night went surprisingly well. A friend came through with the LCD projector, which always makes it better. I've done it with only my laptop screen before, but it doesn't work with more than a few people

If you intend for your book to cover the history of BDSM from medieval times (if not before!), I'd daresay you'd have a wealth of material for at least one book.

Your idea of travelling to the Leather Archives & the Kinsey Institute is excellent - if/when you get the chance, do it! Maybe a trip to San Francisco as well? Other well-known BDSM "historical sites", as it were?
