I found my poetry book from ages 11-18. Some seriously tortured, depressed stuff. So I wasn't just morbid and weird, but I was seriously, just sad. So, so strange to look back. I remember, but don't totally recognize the person writing the poems. If my kids ever write like I did, I'd send them to therapy. Exactly 15 years ago (age 13) I wrote the
