Day 47.
Ok.
Fishing is kinna slow paced an boring. I've been sitting here by the river FOR a few hours an barely anything's happened. I got a few bites n' nibbles now and then but no catches. I didn't bring any music or nothin' with me EITHER so I've just had the sound of quietness an splashes to entertain me, at least the bobber on my fishing pole is pretty and watching it lazily move around the water is pretty cute. I brought a fishtank with me too to put anything I catch in it, it's kinna heavy SO I'm hoping that bringing it all the way out here from home will be worth it.
It's hard to stop yawning an I think I fell asleep for a while cause I coulda' sworn I saw a spaceship...BUT that doesn't seem possible so I don't think it was real then...I think. That would be pretty keen if it WAS real tho'.....
I gotta bite! A TUFF one tooo~ cause it took forEVER for me to reel IT in! I almost got pulled in a few times too, but I'm not gonna give up!
It turned out to be a Horse Mackerel! Nay!? Yay! Kinna small but it's my first catch so I'm excited an proud OF myself! I made a new friend too, his name's Walker, he WAS fishing a little ways upstream when he heard me cheering about my fishy. He gave me a round of applause, yay!
Walker seems to like fishing alot and he gave me some tips on how to DO it better. It worked and I improved bunches inna little while. So a few more hours later the ocean's now missing a lotta SQUIDS. I had to go to Nook's Cranny a few times to buy some extra jars and tanks, but I made my money back plus lots more by selling most of my catches to Mr.Nook eeeeeee~! I'm keeping a few things to bring to the town Museum cause' I haven't really visited it yet and want to donate some stuffs.
This has been a great morning so far! I have lots of money now, a new friend, and got good at fishing! I'm gonna rest here for a little bit before lugging this fishtank to the Museum.
