Whoa - so many comments I need to reply to, and end of the year round-ups and such, and my wireless is a mess. Something's wrong with my telecom connection which is making it very slow and intermittent, so I don't have no internet, just REALLY GODDAMN ANNOYING internet. Half the time it doesn't connect - I have to hit reload 3-4 times on average. ( Read more... )

What a wonderful start to the day, month, & year! I love how the fireworks seem to be in motion, changing colors as they expand, while Rodney's & John's faces glow but seem stationary, like their gazes are just about to connect & lock. Love their happy smirky smiles! :-)

I've read/viewed some Yuletide treats that folks on my flist called out but a great many more remain to be seen, which is quite a happy prospect! \o/ Your Cat Personalities card is genius-anyone owned by a cat has to recognize the types instantly. Also, I'm so happy to hear that Possum's eating better! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to coax cranky little elderly cats to eat & drink but, as my vet said about my 20-year-old furchild, they *are* littler & less active than they used to be. If he acts happy & normal-for-him, is still interested in some things, & seems to be eliminating regularly, he's probably doing fine. <3 <3

I do have a comment about "Helter Skelter" which is very USA-specific so I didn't want to leave it at AO3. Very few folks in the ( ... )

Isn't that interesting - I had no idea about the Manson connection, I just connect it with the Beatles and old fairgrounds.
Yes, I'm telling myself that about Possum, too, and he seems happy, so that's good.
