the translink is a blessing and a curse... they really don't know what they're doing with those readers. I recommend finding a translink on a bus/train if they bug you and tag it. It'll flash TRANSFER and they'll leave you alone... I think.

But that won't stop them from being a jerk if they feel like it.

wow, when did muni become such Nazi's? That must be annoying to deal with on a regular basis. I remember back when I pretended to be a student for 8 years and only paid 35 cents, used expired passes, and watched people cram on the back of the bus with no complaints. Granted, I think its good that they are cleaning up there act a bit, but a good first step would be to hire, you know, friendly and helpful non-run you over drivers.
I bet stabby-mcstabberson got on for free......
