Playing with Dolls...

My friend darkawaii was kind enough to lend me her Dollstown 15 Boy body (WS). I've been dying to see one of those up close, and try it out for posing, size/proportional comparisons, and clothing fits.

So... I've tried putting my old 2005 DIM (Doll In Mind) Persia head on it (The DIM Persia head is the one that I bought second hand in fall of 2007, and

Isn't the DT body awesome!? I was amazed when I first got it. They're worth the money. <3 I love their hands! I'm glad you love it too! :) Not many do what I did and sell these lovely bodies on a 2nd hand market.

It really is magnificent - a real work of art! I'd love to see Dollstown develop it a bit further, and give it a bit more flexibility - maybe some double jointing in the elbows, for example.

You're right; one does not often see these on the second-hand market. However, they don't seem to be too difficult to buy from Dollstown, now that DT have an English order board.

Hey! Why the heck DID you let'im go?! You could have put another head on him, if the ASYD head did not suit your purposes. ^___^

ASYD did suit, I liked the head. :) And the body was great, but I felt he was just sitting around my house and not getting the attention he deserved. I didn't have any plans for him in the future, and it seems... Trych did. ;) So therefore, I let him go. :)

I love this head! I really think you should get a body for him. (Or her, if you decide to keep it as a girl... I'm loving the boy, though.) It's sad that you're selling your Irvin, especially after all you did to get this boy... but if he just isn't clicking then I hope he goes to a good home.^^
