I'm watching the world cup match between Australia & Japan... at the moment I'm having a 'Not happy Jan' moment because of the goal that was allowed by this stupid ref. It was a blatant foul on the keeper (he had given a softer one on the other side only minutes earlier) which should have resulted in the goal being dissalowed but NO!!!! this ref ( Read more... )

I missed the Australia-Japan match ... and the USA/Czech Republic match as well. Fortunately both teams I wanted to win did so! :) I've just been reading up on the play-by-play online.

I hope you'll be feeling better soon ... keep me updated on the work situation, will you? Just e-mail me or something to let me know how you're doing. I am concerned about the whole outsourcing thing, so ... yes.

Am going away in a couple of weeks to Germany (yes, I'm really going this time *L*) and I would have liked to have one last lunch but it looks as though with exams and the sort I am seriously running out of time to do these catch-up things; would love to hear more about how you've been doing, though. Have been a bit worried lately because you're so quiet and really, you're not too far away from me so I should have been better at keeping in contact *L*

Take care of yourself and feel better soon.

What do you have against the Japanese? What has the Japanese country done to Miffy? ;)

No, but in all seriousness, I think Australia played very well. Aside that, The country I've been cheering for has surpassed my expectations. I would like to see them play against Australia at least once, but alas, they're in a different group (And no, It's no England, I may have been born there, but that doesn't mean I have to cheer for them *L* No, I'm cheering for my roots). Nevertheless, the upcoming match between Australia and Brazil should be interesting. I'm hoping Australia comes out on top, but this being Brazil we're talking about, they would likely have to put in a bit more effort in order to do so. Still, the way Brazil played in their first match was unlike them, so Australia may have the upper hand.

With that said, I hope your feeling better by the time you read this. And don't fall ill anymore! [hugs] That's my job ;)
