It has occurred to me, that Samhain would be an excellent time for the fae acquire adorable human children, since it's the one day of the year where parents actively encourage their children to take candy from strangers. And you know what they say about eating faerie food...

There actually is a strict no-touch rule on Hallows...we want children to be enamored with the night, and know it is safe for them...why do you think that most horror films go after teenagers and above?

===Well, more to the point, the teenagers forget to RESPECT. That is kinda the message, really. Respect the dark, it will protect you. Disrespect it and your instincts, get eaten. Quite reasonable, really.

I gave the ad-hoc live band at Liam Flynn's Ale House most of my Halloween candy. Can I keep them? They were Irish grown-ups, they should know better, right?
