My first vote

I voted today for the first time. Despite hearing all sorts of horror stories, I had no problem. I walked down to the elementary school, voted, and was back within the hour.

And it looks like I won't have to move to Canada.

Yeah, I was worried there for a bit.

But I am irrationally pleased beyond all measure that my single vote counted in swinging the swing state I live in to blue for the first time in way too long.

Congratulations on voting. I'd been voting for 12 years before I saw a president I voted for win, I'm glad you got to do so on your first election.
