Books! I managed five in May, including one of over 600 pages, so not bad! Was all over the place in quality this month, ranging from a 1.5 to a full 5!
I have not done nearly so well. We have been getting a good bit done on maintenance and such, though. Hopefully I'll be able to get more reading in after the current project is really finished.
I hate when books start off so well and then just crumble. It's such a let down :(
I've definitely read books where I'm not sure if I liked them when I've finished. Not my favourite kinds of reads. Sometimes things just stick with you regardless of liking.
The Time Traveller's Wife was such a great read. I also enjoyed another of her books, Her Fearful Symmetry, she's an author who writes such special things.
Sometimes things just stick with you regardless of liking. I always find it so confusing when that happens, and so difficult to give an accurate rating on those!
I recommended Her Fearful Symmetry to my wife (not my kind of book), but she couldn't really get into it. I'm glad you did like it!

Maintenance is important as well :-) I've got the luck of working from home and a one hour lunch break - prime reading time!
