It's colder in Scotland than in England, or at least, it was when we took the train north together. I was spending my junior year of college at Oxford, and my mother flew out to visit me after Christmas. I'm certain it was one of the Cunninghams--either Phil or Johnny--because I know that you and your mom described him saying that he'd gained a stone since some photo of him was taken, and I believe I had that Relativity CD with him and his brother, and the Ó Domhnaills, on the front of it (or Jan had it back at SLC, but both of us had seen it).

I remember your mom's visit very much indeed--she was, and still is, a wonderful woman, and I'm glad I got to meet her.

And, that year was pretty amazing in so many ways, not just for you...
