Moving people into new homes is so tiring! Especially when you have to do most of the heavy lifting, and spend all night doing so. I've also reaffirmed the knowledge that, all-nighters? They're not so much my thing, anymore. I've lost that 'college resiliency,' or something, I guess. Weird, and ironic, considering how many times I used to stay ( Read more... )

I appreciate the recommendations. I read All Quiet on the Western Front at some point, actually. =)

I'm currently plowing through Killing Rain, featuring 'natural causes' assassin John Rain, by Barry Eisler. If you're into reading action, mystery, and/or thrillers, I would definitely recommend reading it.

I've definitely never had the resiliency that allowed me to actually stay up for an entire 24 hours and certainly not while maintaining some semblance of productivity. What kind of a college student I've been, I'll never know. ;)

The 'responsible' kind of college student? =p

I misused the word 'resiliency.' More than anything, I put myself into those situations. At least, in schoolwork-related terms. I should have said, "that ability to stay up and not pay for it in the morning thing." Although my Senior year I didn't really pull all-nighters, which probably played a part in defamiliarizing me with them, too. Ah, the inner workings of college procrastination. I should write a book about it! hahaha.
