"crawl into a song" - marc

Almost every morning while I am getting dressed I manage to stand directly under the windchimes that are hanging from my ceiling and hit them as I pull a shirt over my head. If any of you tend to wake up in a grumpy mood, I suggest buying some windchimes and placing them in a high-traffic location of your home. You won't be able to help but smile ( Read more... )

i found your journal when i was googling something completely different. i didn't even have a livejournal at that point. i just remember reading lots of your entries and thinking how wonderful you were. then i got a livejournal and you were the first person i added.

most of the time i feel as though when i write things down, i make stuff seem more exciting than it actually is. i know that the same is true for most. it's the role of the writer. anyway, i don't judge you wholly on your writing, but it sure is a good indicator that we would be instant friends. i've admired you from afar from quite some time!

and i would love a visit!!

neat! yeah, it's a good thing not to judge solely on the writing because i just don't have the patience/energy anymore to write in this as much as i used to. also sometimes i get the feeling that most of my lj friends are too vapid for the kinds of things i want to say. so i don't see the point. anyway, i time things according to number of songs, too. time does not actually exist.

maybe over the summer i could get my ass in gear and go to your amazing communal house in canada for the first time in my whole life?

thanks for coming to visit! it's always so nice when friends drop by to say hello at work. i hope the king lear essay went well for you. :)

and we decided not to go for the place we looked at yesterday. bell street is riddled with bad stories so we decided to stick to an area that's a little less sketchy. BUT! i'm looking into another place on arlington (at bay), and one on gilmour as well...
just think - living so close, we'll get to hang out all the time!
