...oh dear god otaku's....why...WHYYYY?!
Do people even KNOW what an otaku is? It's NOT a good thing people...not a good thing at all. ESPECIALLY if u're called an otaku.

...but then again, I suppose ignorance is bliss. Hah, except I'll be that one person tha starts to snicker and point at ur "bliss". :P

ah, are u ok? Otaku is Japanese - I don't suppose the Americans would know anything of it :D at least not those familiar with Japanese. So what is it exactly? ;)

Otaku's kinda like a derrogatory term that many Japanese peeps gave to those "overly obssessed fans".
Those stereotypical ones: fat slobs that have no life, live in their mom's basement, no job, etc... -_-

...actually...people who claim to be otaku probably know what it is (otherwise they wouldn't go around saying it)...but erm...are kinda missinformed about the words meaning...

...it's a lil disterbing seeing a 40 year old dude with a beer belly dress up like Sailor Moon...

I went to SakuraCon last year...and erm...yeh...I'm going to skip this years...and the year after...and the year after that...etc. O_o
