Name: Midori Sato
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: December 1st
Star Sign: Sagittarius
Report Card B
Appearance: Midori is below average height. She is quite a bit heavier than her classmates, weighing in at 208 pounds (I don’t know the kilometric equivalent yet XD). She has long black hair, brown eyes and a round face. Her complexion is fair, but she does suffer from the occasional outbreak of zits.
Personality: Midori is…interesting. Her desire to be socially accepted causes her to tell lies constantly. She will act completely different depending on who she is with. Although she is a compulsive liar, people still put up with her. It could be because she has no qualms about buying things for her “friends” such as lunch, random presents and whatever else she feels is necessary to keep their friendship alive. She has been known to spin stories that are almost impossible to believe. Her “friends” however, put up with her solely for the fact that Midori is so…well, generous. Midori is good at feigning confidence. She will often act as if she is better than other people and make snide, condescending remarks while hiding the fact that she herself is extremely self conscious and has little self worth.
Strengths:
Lying: Midori is an expert at making up believable lies and stories on the spot with little or no evidence to back them up. The way she talks is captivating and people who don’t really know her often believe what she says.
Eavesdropping: Although not really a strength per se, the girl has an uncanny knack/desire for intentionally listening in on other people’s conversations without them hearing. She will often use such ploys as pretending to talk on her cell phone, “sleeping” in class with her head on her desk or pretending that she’s reading or doing homework.
Adapting Midori changes the way she acts when she’s around certain people. For example, if she’s talking to someone who hates cats, she will promptly agree that she hates them too. Even though she owns two and loves them both dearly. Midori changes the way she acts because she is afraid of saying the wrong thing and upsetting those around her.
Weaknesses
Low self-esteem: Midori’s self-esteem is incredibly low. She rarely looks at the positive side of things when it comes to the topic of herself. She is ashamed of how heavy she is and secretly wishes to be thinner.
Need to fit in: The girl holds back her true feelings and thoughts because she is afraid of what people might say. She is afraid to show her true personality for fear that it will not be accepted by her peers. Midori goes to extreme lengths such as lying in an attempt to garner attention and approval.
Arrogance: Midori's family is rich. Midori knows her family is rich. Therefore she can be incredibly bitchy about lower-class people. In all reality, it makes her feel better to know that there are people below her on the financial ladder.
Weight: Being the heaviest girl in her class, Midori does not do well in athletic activities. Preferring not to participate in P.E, she instead sits on the bleachers and tries to impress people by telling stories. She is not able to run long (or even medium) distances without finding herself severely out of breath.
Overnight Bag: Camera, toiletries, enough clothes to last the trip, several candy bars, an Mp3 player, various magazines and her diary.
Family:
Mother:
Father:
Brothers: (4)
Sisters: (3)
History:
Midori Sato comes from an extremely wealthy family. Her father owns and successfully manages a number of businesses. Her mother has no need (or desire) to work and stays home with her children who aren’t yet old enough to go off to school. Midori’s family is quite large, her being the middle child of eight. Her brothers and sisters range in ages from university to preschool. Midori’s sister Emi is a senior at [insert high school name here] and is quite popular and well known among the school. This makes it rather hard for Midori to live up to her sister’s reputation, but she tries anyway.
The girl is well known in her class too…but not for the same reasons as her sister. She is known for being a gossip, a kiss ass, and a compulsive liar. Regardless of this, she gets along well with the majority of her classmates. Or…so she thinks. Many of Midori’s friends just use her to get things. The girl has no hesitation to offer to pay for lunch or bowling or what not. Midori is an expert when it comes to buying the affection of others. She knows just what to say, how to say it and what to do.
The girl always has something to say during a conversation. Most of the time…it won’t be true. She has had countless “boyfriends”, “hookups”, and “crazy party nights” and doesn’t know why all of the boys pine over her! Her group of friends never call her out on her own lies; they see it as pointless. They just talk about her behind her back.
Beneath all of the artificial confidence and lies, Midori is a very depressed person. She is somewhat ignored at home; her mother only really talking to her when she’s barking orders to pick up one of her siblings. She does decent in school, but nothing near her older sister Emi, who has impeccable grades. To suppress her feelings of worthlessness and sadness, Midori binges. Her need for comfort food is not apparent in her social life, Midori keeps it behind closed doors.
Classroom behavior: Midori is a joy to have in class. She always has something to say pertaining to the lectures I give, and shows an interest in the subject matter. Although she gets a bit chatty at times with her friends, which is understandable of course, she is still a good student and a pleasure to have in class.
Extracurricular Activities: NONE! SHE'S TOO TAF! *SHOT* Midori's a part of Student Goverment (if one even exists at this school <.<;). She's the Treasurer...so...she does nothing. She takes her position seriously...even though she doesn't do anything. Perhaps it's the status. Treasurer must mean that she's on a higher level than her classmates...thus helping her maintain her façade of self-righteousness.
Classroom Relationships:
HELP ME OUT HERE, GUYS!! XD
Sayo Hironari: Midori and Sayo get along quite well. Midori loves the fact that Sayo is willing to believe anything she says in terms of gossip/stories. Midori also loves how Sayo can make others laugh so easily. She feels as if by hanging out with her, she'll seem funny/cool to other people in her class. Although the two girls are friends, Midori will not hesitate to "spill the beans" on secrets that the two have shared.
Daichi Sato: One of Midori's countless cousins. She and Daichi don't really talk, but she has interacted with him a time or two. Then there was always the time when his family came to her's to ask for financial support. Midori won't hesitate to bring it up. She's a bitch like that. ((How's that Dan? Poke me if I'm wrong on something!))
Remiyu Yazawa/SAI: Midori think SAI is...well...crazy. She'll act in a civil manner toward the girl, but when she's not around, Midori has no qualms about initiating a discussion of how WEIRD the girl is. She knows that clinically, something isn't right with the girl...but she doesn't care. At least there are crazier people than herself in the class to point the finger at.
Etsuko Minamoto: "Who? Oh...the loner girl..." Midori doesn't associate with Etsuko because of the fact that she sees her as a boring girl with no friends. Having never actually SPOKEN to the girl...Midori is basing this opinion on...NOTHING. She won't hesitate to either make up stories/rumors involving Etsuko if she feels like it. *BITCH*!
Masayuki Fujimura: Midori loooves Masayuki. His bad boy lifestyle draws her to him and she loves hearing all his stories. Unlike hers, she knows that they're true because of Masayuki's nonchalance about it all. Midori gathers information to try to use as her own. She would gossip about the boy...but his apathy toward what people think of him leads her to see it as pointless. The two are friends and get along well.
Kaori Matano: The relationship between the two girls used to be quite strong. That is, until Kaori made the mistake in confiding in Midori. Soon, the news that she had a huge crush on Saburo began to float around school - much to Kaori's shock. Midori and Kaori have still remained friends, but their relationship will never be as strong as it once was.
Hayato Fuschida: Everyone likes Hayato. Why shouldn't Midori? He's a fun person to be around, always happy and entertaining. Midori likes him, but at the same time is extremely jealous of the fact that he so effortlessly makes people happy. He doesn't even buy them anything. *BITCH* ((Tell me if that's Kosher, Krisnit ♥))
Sakie Tobe: Sakie used to hang around with Midori when she first arrived in the new class, but then kind of...distanced herself. Midori didn't really care that much because Sakie was very quiet.
Memorable Moments
I can't believe you told my secret! Midori is ruthless when it comes to gossip. She loves nosing about in people's personal lives and has no problem in the slightest with turning around and telling other people. She feels that it gives her some kind of status to be able to know what goes on in people's lives. WHAT A BITCH!
Vote for Midori! Green like money! Midori successfully ran for Treasurer of student govt. She ran against [INSERT WHOEVER WANTS TO BE THAT PERSON HERE] and beat said person. She's surprised that she doesn't really DO anything in Student Government...but it's a status.
