Summary : yabu, daiki, dan inoo are childhood friend. Yabu loves daiki, and inoo loves yabu, and this is their loves journey *suck at summary*
“huh, so tired ne” said takaki while laying down his body in the rooftop of their school.
Today is a brighter day, and usually takaki always spent his break time in rooftop of their school. he always just laying down and sometime eat his lunch in there. And today he just buy apple juice and melon bread to full his stomach. he don’t know why he always decline his friends offer to spent their break time together, but he just like to be alone and spent his break time in rooftop more than have hang out with his friends. But still his friends understand him well, thats why his friends never mad at him when he decline them. As usual, he always being alone in that rooftop, and until now theres no one spent their break time in the rooftop except him.
“ah, so free ne and why inoo-kun never recognize me?” he asking to himself and rolling his body to the left and to the right. He still thinking about what will happened with him when he confess his love to inoo kei yesterday.
“ah, so complicated ne. I thought love just simple. When i confess to her, she will accept me. Ah, why so complicated?” he rolling his body again and now faster than before, he just confuse what will he do after he got rejected from inoo. He still love inoo and always do love her. But still he confuse with his next step.
It’s more than one year he love inoo. He loved inoo from the first time they meet. It was the same time with today, when he wanna go to rooftop in his break time and suddenly they bumped each other.
Flash back
“ah, finally the break time, and it’s time to rooftop time” takaki said to himself and grinning happily. He stand up from his seat and when he wanna exit from his class, he heard his friends called him and asked him to have a lunch together.
“yuya, where are you going? Wana have a lunch with us?” said one of his friend
“ah, i pass today ne. Hehehe. Gomen.” Said takaki while clapped his hands in front of his face and exit from his class immediately. He just wanna spent his break time alone today and have fresh air in the rooftop.
He’s walking to the rooftop happily and sometime whistle a tone from his favorite song. But His happy face change to the pouty one when suddenly someone bumped to his body.
BRAKKKK!!!
“itte” said takaki while try to stand up from his position after fell down but he can’t move his body at all cause there’s someone in top of his body. The someone suddenly get up from top of his body and bowed her head.
“sumimasen deshita, daijoubu?” said that person and reached out her hand, try to help takaki stand up from his position now.
Thump!!!!
Takaki just can be silent after saw a beautiful creature in front of him. She have a tall body almost 172 cm and have a bit curly hair. She have a pale skin but her lips so red. Takaki just speechless and he can’t take his eyes to looking at the beautiful creation in front of him.
“sumimasen, daijoubu ka? said the latter and still reached out her hand to help takaki stand up from his position. The voice from the latter wake takaki up from his day dream and he just realize there’s a hand in front of him. Without thinking, he reach that hand and try to stand up.
“ah, so soft.” He whispering to himself and still hold the latter hand.
The latter just loosened his hand from takaki hand and ask about takaki condition again.
“daijoubu ka?” said the latter with worrying face.
“ah, sumimasen ne. Daijoubu desu.” Takaki said while still amaze with the beautiful creature in front of him.
“i’m so sorry if i hurt you, and bumped at you.” Then the latter bowed her head and hopely that takaki will forgive her
“inoo-chan, what are you doing there? We will late you know” suddenly someone called the latter from a far and make the latter rise her head.
“ah, gomennasai ne. Hope you will be alright. I’m so sorry.” And then the latter smile to him and just walking to her friend direction, leave takaki alone who still standing in his position. He still amaze with the beautiful woman and especially amaze with her smile.
“ah, inoo-chan ka? so beautiful.” Said takaki while walking to the rooftop direction and he can’t stop smiling and grinning widely.
End of flash back
From that day, He fallen from inoo when he saw inoos beautiful smile. He don’t know why, but when he see that smile his heartbeat become fast and it seems like there’s a butterfly which fly in his stomach. from that day he can’t take his eyes from inoo and always looking at inoo from afar. At first he doesn’t have a courage to confess his feeling to inoo, that’s why he always sent a letter to inoo everyday. But, he doesn’t know why he brave to confess his feeling to inoo that day. maybe because he always saw inoo sad face lately. He doesn’t know why, everytime he see inoos sad face, he just wanna hug her and wanna heal her pain.

“ah, so complicated ne, it makes me hungry.” Then takaki bite his melon bread to fill his stomach, but when he want to bite his melon bread, how shocked he is when he see a familiar face just walking in that rooftop and sit not really far from takaki seat right now. He just can’t believe that he will meet his crush in this place. He don’t know if this day is his lucky day or his bad day. he don’t know what to do now. He wanna approach his crush but afraid if he will disturb the latter.
“what should i do?” said takaki, panic by himself and really confuse what should he do now. He just can see his crush from a far. How really love when he sees his crush now. How he really love that beautiful face, with her red lips and this time the latter just tail her hair, and that’s make she look more beautiful. But still takaki can’t find her angelic smile again today. She really look pale today too. How takaki really miss his crush smile.
“what’s problem that make you become like this inoo-chan?” takaki said whisperly and still looking at his crush from a far.
Meanwhile, inoo kei just sit down now and try to eat her bento, but she just realize that she forget her drink.
“ah, i forget to bring my drink here” inoo mumbling and sighing, and she just continue open her bento and try to eat her bento. But suddenly when she wanna put her bento to her mouth, there’s a apple juice in front of her face. And she just turn her face and found the brunnete one who just smiling widely to her.
“you looking for a drink?” takaki said while sitting beside inoo and put the drink in front of inoos bento. Inoo just can blink her eyes, try to recalled who is the person beside her now.
“can i sit here?” he asked inoo and hope inoo not afraid with him because yesterday. Inoo just nod her head and takaki smiling widely. How happy he is now that he can sit side by side with his crush.
“still remember me?” takaki grinning widely and turn his body to the left, to face inoo who just sitting beside him.
Inoo just can be silent, still recalled who is the person beside her now.
“ee, you don’t remember me ka? the letter?” takaki pout his lips, how could inoo forget about him although it’s just yesterday he confessed to her.
“ah, i remember you. Takagi yuya right? Someone who just confessed to me yesterday?” said inoo while turn her body to the right to face takaki and make sure that person is the one who just confessed to her yesterday.
“eee, i’m not takagi but takaki. K not G.remember it ne.” Takaki pout his lips again.
“ah hai, takaki ka?” said inoo and she turn his face again and open his bento, try to eat that.
“it’s look delicious ne?” said takaki when look at inoos bento. It’s really look delicious compared to his melon bread. There’s a fried chicken and mushroom. He just gulp his saliva, try to hold not to eat inoos bento.
The latter just silent and continue her eating. And then she suddenly close her bento although she not finish eat her bento. She don’t have apetite to finish her bento. And she just look at the sky and close her eyes, try to heal her pain. how hurt her heart now, and how she really miss yabu now. Wanna have a talk with him and wanna laugh together with yabu. She took deep breath and sighing.
“why love is really complicated ne?” said inoo, sighing, try to hold her tears, without realize that there’s takaki who just sit beside her.
Takaki turn his face to left side again and see how sadly inoo face right now. His heart really hurt when he see his crush right now. He wanna hug her and console her but he can’t do that. He doesn’t know what’s make the latter sad, but he just think he must do something to make the latter smile although it can’t solve the latter problem.
Then he just smile to inoo
“for me love is simple. It’s not complicated you know. If you really love him, just love him. Although when you love him, it can only hurt you but still you must love him with all of your heart. That’s the consequence that must you take when you love someone. It can make us hurt but it can make us happy at the same time. If you really love him, just love him. Hehehe.” Said takaki, smiling widely to inoo and he offer the apple juice to inoo,
“just take this and drink it.”
Inoo just can speechless with takaki words. That’s right ne, if she really love yabu, just love him although it’s really hurt her heart. Although is just simple words from takaki but it’s can heal her pain a bit. How she wanna cry now, but she can’t cry in front of takaki. She turn her face to takaki and give her smile to the latter and take the juice from takakis hand. Then she opens that juice and drink it.
How happy takaki when he see inoos smiling face and now his heart beat faster than before. How he really love that smile, and how he really miss that smile. He turn his face and look at the sky, smiling widely.
“the sky is beautiful ne” said takaki when he look at the sky.
“uhn,” inoo nodded her head, looking at the sky too, and still drink her juice. She took a deep breath, and close her eyes. The wind just blow her hair and make her calmer a bit. She know that her love is complicated but still she can’t forget about yabu. takaki was right, if she really love yabu, just love him, although it’s really hurt her.
She open her eyes and smiling, then she stand up from her seat and wanna go back to her classroom. But before she go back to her classroom, she faced takaki who still sit down in his position, and she bowed her head to takaki.
“arigatou gozaimasu for today, and thank you for the juice.” Said inoo, smiling widely, then rise her head, and walking to her classrooms direction. But, how suprised she was when suddenly someone just grab her hand and make her turn her face to the latter direction.
Takaki loosened his hand from inoos hand, and smiling widely.
“i’m sorry if i grab your hand, but can i ask something to you?”
Inoo just confuse with sudden question from takaki but then she just nod her head
Takaki just reached out his hand
“wanna be my friend?” said takaki with his best smile, still reached out his hand
Inoo just can be silent for a moment, but then she take takaki hand and nod her head.
“yes, of course takagi-kun. Hope we can be a good friend.”
Takaki just can pout his lips again after he heard inoo said his name wrongly.
“i just told you before inoo-kun, i am takaki yuya and not takagi yuya. K not G. Remember it.” said takaki while still pouting his lips. And how suprised takaki is when he sees inoo laughing widely in front of him right now.
“hai hai, takaki ne. Hehe” inoo laughing happily, it looks like she forget about her pain before.
Takaki just can smile widely when he see his crush laughing happily in front of him now. How he miss that smile and how he really love that smile. He just promised to his self that he will always make inoo smile.
“i will make sure to make you smile, inoo kei”
