*hee* I swear, it was eating my brain all day! I found myself googling the 76 winter olympics, and then I started writing dialogue, planning to fill it in with exposition and all, but I decided not to because it was crack after all. :) (Though at the end, I felt I had to with Mr. Head Obliviator!)

It would have been two minor anchors covering Bobsledding, (And Lampley was a minor guy back then at ABC! I checked!) but I just couldn't resist using darling Howard, though I cut out the baseball and boxing (Ali) references I started to add to his dialogue because I couldn't be arsed to look up players and shit. (Though I did leave in the Holy Cow)

Anyway, I'll stop my babbling! I'm really glad it made you laugh!

Yes, well, it's about 1000 words longer than a drabble... I so fail at drabbles!

There I was, minding my own business, watching the Olympics on TV, and I couldn't stop thinking about the marauders and bobsledding, and then I find myself googling the 1976 winter olympics - grateful they were in Europe and not North America! - and then I went back to lay on the couch, refusing to give in to the crack bunny and I took a wee nap, and woke up and I ended up with this! (I still haven't been to sleep properly either! Damn you! It's all your fault! *g* I'm not tired at all now, but I will be later.)

I'm SO glad it was funny! (To other people besides myself! *g*) Couldn't manage the naked bit - the network would have cut the feed after all! *g* - but... yeah.

I swear - I was sitting there writing it and thinking I should just delete the whole thing because it was just so silly, but then I thought of you (and even thought of trying to fit a pirate reference in but I couldn't work it out without being completely ridiculous) and I knew I had to at least finish it before deciding whether or not to toss it. I had planned to go back and add some exposition, but I was lazy. And it's crackfic. :)
