Deanna Troi is much love ♥ I had forgotten she crashed the Enterprise. She was also awesome in that Mirror darkly episode where she was an evil torturer, and in that other episode where her mind got taken over on that planet by that bad dude. She should have been evil all the time. I used to love the fact her nickname on set was "ol' bun head' LOL. I show my true Trek geekery here... *head desks*

Sometimes I think he's what the a lot of the Snape fans wanted (or imagined) Snape to be. Although I doubt Tyrion would have wives on the astral plane.

Then again, Peter Dinklage might! :-P

I KNOW!!! GAH! I loved Jon from his first scene. GRRM would never be able to leave his house again.

I think maybe this summer I'll attempt another re-read. AFFC took so long to come out, I'd forgotten way too much of what had happened in the previous books. So I started re-reading GoT, intending to read all four, but I kind of crashed and burned and didn't even finish GoT. I bought ADWD - pre-ordered it, even, but I haven't even cracked the cover open yet. I fail so hard. I go through phases and I really have to be in a mood - and have a lot of free time! - to read them. (I need the Cliff's Notes versions! LOL)

AFFC has been sitting on my bookshelf since it came out in hardcover. In fact, I have both the hardcover and the paperback. And I haven't read either. I think, too, that part of my lackluster enthusiasm is because my three favorite characters aren't really in it. I hated that he split it up that way - that both books pretty much take place at the same time.

I'll get around to it eventually!

I'm sure I'll be fine with Tyrion, even if I get a little irritated. I loved Capslock!Harry and Deserter!Remus. If anyone deserves to wallow a bit in drunken misery, it's Tyrion. In fact, I think you should write a fic about Tyrion and Sirius in a bar and wallowing and one-upping each other in their drunken misery. Tyrion would probably like Firewhisky.

Also, I haven't read the GoT books, but Tyrion is my favorite character in the series and Peter Dinklage DOES deserve ALL the awards.

When it was first announced that they were going to be making the mini-series, I'm pretty sure most fans of the book had already mentally cast Peter Dinklage before they even finished reading the entire announcement. (They've done a phenomenal job with the entire cast, really.)
