Reflections on a rainy day

I've opened this window every day this week, but I really haven't had much to say, so I end up closing it, sighing, and think, "maybe tomorrow." Not that there's nothing going on in my life, but it's just not all that blogworthy ( Read more... )

As a fairly conservative SC Republican who thinks the party has lost its collective mind and would cheerfully remove Mark Sanford and Joe Wilson from office tomorrow, I kind of never want to discuss politics again. The people on the other side can't be those who we merely have disagreements with, they have to be Evil Incarnate. It wouldn't surprise me if there was rioting in the streets. What happened between now and eight years ago? It makes fannish troubles seem so small.

I do love and adore you and this post makes me very achey and forlorn. Lastly I also hate you for pumpkin lattes because I can't have one. Drarry does NOT like when I have milk.

Yes, this, exactly. Something was said today by one of my flisters today that I'm trying to wrap my mind around hours later, wondering how people could be that narrow minded, forgetting everything we learned that day, turning it into an excuse to be nearly as hateful as the people who spawned those religious fanatics who murdered so many people.
