At least I'm finished with my gen fic - oh man, it was killing me, and I hated it so so much. I ended up taking one flashback scene from the first draft, and just expanding it to turn it into a fic all its own, and I liked it MUCH better. (We'll just ignore how I turned a @1000 word scene into a 6145 word fic. :-P As my friend Nessa put it - it's like a Lisa drabble. Hee!)

LOL So it's a double shot for you. I watched "Planet of the Dead" tonight and it was a lot of fun. They both were.

Now you know how I felt about my hp_springsmut story. I wound up scrapping it all and writing a prequel to the story I'd started, although I kept some of the sex I'd written before. I thought it was going to be something short and sweet, and yeah, it was nearly 6K. You and I can't write short and sweet, can we?

My current piece is 4000 words and I'm [inserting sex here]. Then I just have to decide on the actual ending (the final scene is already written, but not the bitter end). Hopefully soon. Then I'm actually up to date (and just have a short Charlie fic for flames_n_tats, this month's daily_deviant and Weasley_fest to think about). :)
