So, Ben left 5 days ago. I'm taking it day by day, which seems the best route instead of trying to imagine how long a year is-which makes me feel lost. December 1st will be 10 years since we started dating, and in that whole time we've never been apart more than a few months at a time. i don't know how people go through deployment after deployment ( Read more... )

Day by day is really the best way to do it, I've found. I used to be semi-engaged to a bloke in Australia --we only saw each other a month twice a year.

College classes might be good :) Give you a chance to meet some new people too.

The problem with college classes is I have no idea what I want to do. Which is why I failed miserably at college the first time. I could just take core classes and get the credits. I don't know, I'll just have to check out my options.

True -- core classes are good like that. They let you dabble in this and that. It's how I figured out that I never want to touch a law degree unless I need to :P I always like civ classes, personally. They might not help with any major, but learning all about a new country/culture is a good way to pass a semester. :)

when I gradutated high school, I thought I wanted to be in theatre. *lol* Needless to say, that didn't work out so well. I'm pretty sure I should have went with biology as a major, but..when you're younger you think differently. I guess.
