Thanks sweetie. We are very fortunate that Neil's father is doing so well. When we first heard the news, and he began to send us medical reports and information, we were very, very discouraged. We don't expect miracles, but it is nice to know that he is healthy for now.

I'm glad to have Neil back as well. :-)

It is good to hear from you. Ugh, it's so frustrating when everything is up in the air and nothing is settled. I guess that's the beauty of life -- not knowing what's going to happen next -- but it can be exhausting. I'm so glad you guys have each other and that Neil's dad is doing well.

Thanks sweet girl. I will say one thing, my life since leaving New Mexico in 2005, has been anything but boring. I never know what to expect from one moment to the next. Sometimes, it's exhilarating, but yes; on occasion it can be exhausting. Every now and then, I get tired of the re-runs. But, honestly, I can't imagine going through any of this with anyone else but Neil. :-)

Yay, more garden pics! (which means more garden!) I saw a rosemary bush here a while back that had E-friggin'-NORMOUS leaves on it. Like, 2" long. It was a very mild aroma, I kind of wanted one.

It sounds like you're really making good strides on assimilating the various things that are changing--or not changing, as the case may be--in your life. Good for you. You're just not radiating stress like you were.

I am curious, though, have you had your cholesterol retested since you switched back to filtered coffee? Did you in fact switch back to filtered coffee..? :) And, is your hair still falling out, or did that stop?

Rosemary is a very hardy plant, very easy to grow, and you almost cannot kill it. I had a buddy in ABQ that had 2 plants that he never tended to, and they were the most beautiful, lush bushes I'd ever seen. The one I planted in 2007 is absolutely gorgeous now, and I am regularly rewarded with fresh rosemary from it. I love it on my roasted chicken.

Thanks, I'm trying not to kill myself with stress. I did switch from my beloved French press to a Melitta Joe buddy. (https://shop.melitta.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=64+007&Cat=) and you do use a paper cone filter along with it. I have not gone back in yet. I will be doing that within the next couple of months, to determine if my suspicions were rubbish or not ( ... )
