It's Friday and a busy/hectic weekend awaits me. We have our first out-of-towner visiting this weekend. Should be fun. We will be dragging them to Riverbend to eat "Meat on a Stick!"

I don't think I've ever had a tomato that wasn't bought at a store although I love tomatoes dearly.

I've had the pleasure of eating homegrown tomatoes a few times in my life, but up until now, I've never had the experience of trying to grow them. Should be interesting, and if I'm lucky, rewarding.

If you were anywhere near here, I would totally come to your yard and squeal about your tomato plants. And then you could come to my yard, and squeal about my tomato plants. They make me SO happy!! ;)

I remember your garden from last year. *squeal!*
I am anxiously awaiting my first tomato-ette. I have never grown tomatoes before, so I'm trying to restrain myself. I just hope I don't kill the damn things. Expect baby pictures upon arrival. I can't wait until I can serve them up with some whole wheat pasta, basil, garlic and a sprinkling of parmesan. (Of course, after I've eaten a few, ripe off the vine)
