This is the last day of real Alpha; tomorrow we'll go to Confluence, which is fun, but in a different way. I'm sad that we haven't had a cuddle pile yet. People seem to have split into cliques much more this year than last year, and the food suite isn't the hub of comfiness that it was before.

Alpha is almost over! :'(

Aw, well, every year's different. Though a lack of cuddling is sad... Wow, Alpha went by quickly...

Hey, I was thinking (and I wrote this in my LJ, so you probably saw it) that it would be nice to talk to some of you on the phone, like a real conversation some time. I don't know if you'll be around the rest of the summer and would want to chat some time? I always mean to do that and never do.

I did see that on your LJ. I will be around for the rest of the summer, and a phone call would be welcome, but, you know, I'm pretty awful on the phone. Any phone conversation with me is extremely likely to be more awkward pauses than actual conversation. But if you're willing to take the risk and don't mind awkward silences, I'd love to hear from you!
