it sounds like a good enough excuse to me. LOL.

My mother also skipped a grade and was no whiz at math. She'd have liked that excuse, too. ;o) Of course, by that logic if someone got held back a grade they ought to be terrific at math, right?

We had an ornamental magnolia in our yard. It only bloomed occasionally because late frosts would usually kill the buds. But it was certainly showy when it did bloom!
