It was a pretty crazy idea of mine to try and capture so many different elements from the story in one picture, but there was so much lovely imagery from the writing that I wanted to try 😄 and Lochinvar was pleased with the result which is the main thing.

Oh, these are just GORGEOUS, so lush and beautiful and peaceful, I love all the little details, especially the kissing doves! That sounds like a beautiful alternative to Heaven for our boys. I never liked canon!Heaven much, but it was a lot better than Hell. I haven't read the story yet but I'm sure Lochinvar was overjoyed with your interpretation and the superimposed ghostly figures like timestamps on the landscape are an inspired way to get everything in (if that's how I'm reading things correctly!) These must have taken you an age, I'm glad you found the time and health to tackle them, they could be some of your best work yet..!

Awww thank you my friend! It’s a very vibrant little snapshot story packed with imagery from legend and rich sensory information, and it was a joy to try and fit in as many details as I could, but also an incredibly complicated job because of all those little details! Luckily Lochinvar was patient with me because I think it took almost 2 months to complete! So I’m glad it’s worth it for other people too but the main thing was that yes Lochinvar was very happy indeed 🙌🏼😄
