Actions Over Words
Marat Safin/Lleyton Hewitt
PG-13
(not true)

Lleyton doesn’t believe a word Marat says. He’s smarter than that. Always talking too much, always with too much, or less confidence. Too many times has he promised to leave, to leave Lleyton, to leave tennis. He has heard Marat mumbling all his regrets, heard him yell about his doubts. Nope, Lleyton knows better than that.
What he does believe is Marat’s actions. The way he wakes up early to make him coffee; the way he kisses Lleyton’s neck before he goes to sleep; the way he loves without abandon. Most importantly, Lleyton loves how Marat is with Mia. His love and acceptance of his daughter has Lleyton willing to listen to any and every word that comes from Marat’s mouth.
