So, about a year ago, I had planned to go to Concordia University Chicago (used to be River Forest) to study the Director of Christian Education Program.  August rolled around and even with all the scholarships I could fins, the Pell Grant and two loans, I couldn't afford to go. So, I decided to go back to Community College and plan on transferring

It sounds like you've got your marching orders. I don't know what an associates degree will get you except the opportunity to teach head-start. I'm a 2nd grade teacher. Sometimes your job is your ministry and sometimes your job supports you so you can do your ministry. Paul was a tentmaker.
