Okay seriously ... anyone who sees this give me the idiots guide to making an LJ cut work. Because the "£%$^^*^%* just isn't  working at all. It is refusing to let me put ANYTHING under a cut. I am trying to c/p text from MS Word/Word Pad over and it is going in [[apparently inside a cut]] but not actually being under the cut when I hit 'preview'

cuts aren't working for me either. I had to download an LJ client to make it work.

No, paid account or not, it's easy to find. Just go to LJ FAQ's or whatnot at the bottom of every page and look for Clients, there's a few to try from (Varies on your OS)

The one I'm using that worked is Lochjournal.

Sometimes, now that I'm on a Mac when I used to be PC, I have to go to an earlier post where the HTML worked, copy-paste that and alter the

I'm trying to do it in a blooming LJ post, which is what is winding me up with the RAWR mood. It says its working but doesn't appear to be.

And ... its for the xmas exchange so its not like I can leave it open for the world to see or ask someone else to fiddle wiht it.

I try to use Rich Text. Because I suck at computer languages.

At this point? I've given up. It's sorta maybe behind a cut with some formatting issues. It's legible.

But any tips I'll take 'em.
