Got an email from my boss tonight. Seems that one of our students has decided to throw a fit about her fine. We have guidelines in the library that they have to pay their fines before checking out more books. She had a fine, and I could not renew her books. My boss sent her an email saying she needed to pay before renewing her books, but she did ( Read more... )

Why would you get fired? You're doing your job and your boss should back you up.

Well because supposedly this girl did not realize she had a fine. Even though on the emails that I sent her (overdue emails, I believe it has the fine on it. Also, she had known her books were overdue. What are you doing up this early?

It turns out my boss was just mad at the girl. She was just sending me an email to get me fired up and so that I would know to look for all the emails I sent to the girl. Of course, I had all the proof to prove that I had tried to contact her and there was no way she did not know about her fine.
