Beer news:

Apparently, the only thing holding up InBev's takeover of Budweiser was Labatt's.  If there could be a more horrid, mass-produced beer than Budweiser, it would be Labatt's Blue.  http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a0b8KoqJMHdk&refer=home

Ugh! My parents are in love with Labatt Blue, sadly... actually, Labatt Blue Lite, which is even scarier. We tried desperately to explain to them when we were there last time that no, Labatt is not a "really good beer." I finally got my mom to try some decent beer, but without Jonno's and my good influence I'm afraid she's probably back-slid.
