Nice! I particularly like the rhythm, and the way you tell us so very much without spelling it out. The implications of god times and bad, and the little glimpses that all is not entirely well with Iruka even at the best of times. I loved the continuation of the conversation, when Kakashi says he's sorry there are so few stars, as if they'd been talking about it all along, even though they haven't. I love the broken cup, and the line "The pieces sound like windchimes, fall like a landslide."
You're, as ever, a talented writer with a lovely ear for poetry and emotion. Thanks for sharing this.
asd;lfjk Thank you. ♥ I don't even know what to say, but asd;flkj And. I love the broken cup, and the line "The pieces sound like windchimes, fall like a landslide." That was my favorite line, and favorite thing, about it. And, uh, Kakashi's toes. asdfklj So thank you~
♥ I'm glad you liked it, because to be honest, I sometimes feel like a one-trick pony. I can write ennui! And... ennui. And ennui, with a side of emo! So, thank you.
It's so pretty! And so sad. I agree with nezumiko, I loved the pieces falling like windchimes. I love the sparse conversation that says only the bare minimum, and the descriptions of the little things, like pieces of playing cards sticking to his feet.
One fic in two and a half years isn't too bad, right? It's practically like being done with it. But I'm still not going to participate in Naruto fandom. :| I think that boat left the harbor a long time ago. Dude, like, three hundred chapters came out since I left, I swear. asdfklj
But thank you~ I'm glad you liked it.
Also, you need to come back for brownies one of these days. Or I'll make the brownies myself, and eat them all. D: And that'd just be sad.
I. You make me flail and spaz like a weirdo. Thank you. I admit, just that, just you, makes me kinda want to write KakaIru again. Like, seriously again.

Reading a new KakaIru from you feels like coming home after you've been away for a really long time.
THANK YOU.
