aww thank you so much!! =D hehe I can't take credit for the GIFS though, I don't have the talent for them *sighs* I find all my GIFS on Tumblr (gosh that place is filled to the brim with TVD--and everything really lol--pretty!!) and reblog like there is no tomorrow =$
ITA I think it might be very difficult for people to sympathize with Tyler because in terms of characterization, he's really more or less a closed book at this point. I mean all we really know is that he was a douchey bully early season 1, that he had an abusive father, that he's conflicted over his father's death, that he's capable of being civil here and there, he has major rage issues, and that he's a werewolf; it's hard to read him sometimes and that makes it a bit more difficult for a number of people to relate to him. And, like you said, the fact that Caroline is SO DARN LOVABLE doesn't help him any lol <3

I am so with you. This was my favourite episode in a long time. And just... YES to your Caroline love and the insane Stefan/Caroline chemistry. I don't care if it's never romantic even though I'd like it to be I'll be satisfied if they keep giving me more amazing friendship moments between the two of them like that.
And YES to the Damon/Elena - it felt like home, somehow. Like you said... it felt like somehow they were back to that subtle balance and genuine tension/weird closeness that made me love them so much in season 1.
LOVED the Damon bathtub scene. It was just perfectly balanced and omgomg.
Also completely with you on sulky teenage Elena. Because at the same time as being a total teen about it she was also damn strong and damn empathetic - she couldn't help the tears. I love that about Elena - her immense strength and her immense ability to feel for others even in the most unlikely circumstances

ITA, as long as we get more awesome Stefan/Caroline scenes I'm a happy camper even if it never translates into anything shippy (I actually really like those two as friends first and forements but... the potential lol); they play off of one another far to well.

I could not have said it better myself!! I think that that is really what it boils down to with those two, this subtle undercurrent that you could see in every glance and gesture, they just fit together in a way few characters ever truly do for me and this episode more or less pefectly illustrated why <3
I also think the irony of the phonecall with Matt re: Bonnie, and then it being TRUE because Bonnie goes around there? Amazing.
I thought that too!! poor Caroline, she couldn't even catch a break with the timing =(
