HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING THE KATHERINE PIERCE DIAIRIES?! THEY HAVE BEEN AMAZING SO FAR THIS SEASON!!!
SADLY I HAVEN'T, BUT I just might?? I couldn't get past early season 4 because, but you're not the first to mention how fabulous Katherine is being (AND AS A HUMAN AT THAT), and now I'm insanely curious *-)
Plus, I kinda feel like I'm missing a few crucual things on TO by because of my not being all caught up on TVD lol /O\
I don't want them to be over, EVER D: and it sucks because I feel like SO MANY PEOPLE FEEL THE SAME WAY, but we're all sort of just resigning ourselves to it and I don't know what we can do to actively counteract it and UGGH :(
That's exactly how I feel about Tumblr. I don't have anything against it, really, but it makes me sad that fandom seems to be abandoning LJ for Tumblr.
SAME D: like Tumblr as an ~extension of my fandom experience (which is how it initially started) I have no problem with whatsoever because there are aspects of it that I thoroughly enjoy. But having everyone migrate there and abandon the depth and sense of community that comes with LJ, NO THANK YOU.
& I hear you, it's literally like talking into a void and hoping someone somewhere will listen (I got that description from that same thread lol) :(
Hiya! I got an alert from LJ saying that you mentioned me. It also gave me a brief line from the post in which you mentioned me and the line I got was the "slap in the face" bit, so I clicked the link to your post feeling very resigned and wondering who I'd offended, now. Pleasantly surprised to see this, instead!
I don't know any of the TV shows you've mentioned here, but definitely I try to be engaged on LJ portions of my fandoms and encourage more participation in them, and I wish you luck in bringing coffee back in style. ;)
