Well, I'm in Batesburg-Leesville helping out with Pawpaw. In case you didn't catch the update, he got a spot on his back and when they found out it was an infection, they had to stop the chemo and give him anti-biotics. I don't think there is anything harder than this. At least he is home surrounded by family, but that doesn't make it any easier. *HUGS* After what my grandmother went through, I understand how hard it is to watch.

I remember when my uncle died of cancer and how it was in the end. He wasn't himself, in any way. Physically or mentally, and it makes me very sad that my last memories are of him that way instead of him being the creative intellectual person I knew him as my whole life.

I think it's worse this way; seeing them like that then if they were to die in a car accident or some other random way.
